Friday Fiesta: alternate content, advocacy reports, and road trips

Happy Friday!

This Friday, I am freezing. We're hoping for a high of one degree here in Wisconsin, so imagine me hibernating under my desk with my computer as the awesomest space heater ever.

This week's highlight was on how to keep your actions fresh with alternate content.

I got to watch the Third Thursday workshop this week, and I was thrilled, even though I didn't get to...

Live Video Stream of Third Thursday Trainings are here

We have some exciting news for fans of our Third Thursday training workshops.

As you know, we host an in-person workshop on the third Thursday of the month where we highlight some organizing strategies and tactics, along with some tips on how to get the most out of your Salsa toolset.

Beginning with today's training - "Slimming Down Your Email Lists" - we will be streaming video of the training LIVE on our UStream channel found here.

In the future, we can hopefully take your questions on the training via live chat.

To participate in this training from the comfort of your home, simply do the following:
1. Visit our Slideshare page and download today's presentations ("Quick Tips for Slimming Down Your Email List" and "Reports for Easy List Cleaning" so you can follow along.
2. Go to our UStream show and login to UStream.
3. Sit back and enjoy!

Salsa Weekly Highlight: Keep Actions Fresh with Alternate Content

Greetings!

It's the "Salsa Weekly Highlight," your quick hit on what's what in Salsa to help get the most out of your online program. As always, you can find plenty more news, updates, and conversation throughout the week on SalsaCommons.org.

Friday Fiesta: advocacy, queries and veggies

Happy Friday!

This week we welcomed more new staff members, so of course I had to ask them about their favorite vegetables (see Staff Trivia).

Speaking of things that are good for you, NTEN's Tech Leadership Academy might be something for you to check out.

This week's highlight was on our Advocacy package, and if you're wondering where things are at with legislative updates, James posted an update earlier this week.

Scott posted some great suggestions for effective targeting of your supporters, and if you'd like to hear more tips from him on efficient query use, sign up to attend...
