Allow me to introduce myself
Submitted Mon Dec 05 2005 12:00:00 GMT-0500 (EST)Today's my first day at DIA, so I thought I'd take a moment to introduce myself to y'all.
My name is Jason Lefkowitz, and I'm the new COO here at DIA (PDQ FYI ASAP). My last gig was with Oceana, where I was the Director of E-Activism.
What will I be doing at DIA? A few things. First and foremost, I'm going to be working hard to ensure that our tools and service offerings match up with the needs of activists and advocates. That means making them as focused on helping you get your job done as possible.
To that end, I'm interested in your feedback on where we are now. We're in the process of a more formal review of this, but if you want to just send me your impressions (good OR bad) of DIA's tools, hit me at jlefkowitz@democracyinaction.org or just leave a comment here. Don't feel like you have to pull punches, either; I don't bruise easily ;-)
I'll be posting here periodically with news on what's coming from DIA, so watch this space for updates.
Oh yeah; I guess I'm supposed to talk about progressive politics a bit, too. OK then, here is my candidate for 2008. Realistic? No less so than Kucinich was, I say ;-)
