Welcome to the first of our bi-weekly Salsa Status Reports. Our old platform is quickly becoming a thing of the past as more and more groups make the jump to the Salsa. As you may or may not know we plan to phase out our old interface. In the upcoming days our staff with be contacting all our members currently using our old platform, to guide you into Salsa. In preparation to all organizations using Salsa, we want to keep you up to date with all the improvements we are making to the system. Each report will contain information about major updates, bug fixes, enhancements and links to documentation as it develops. • BUG: Added better handling of unicode characters in email blasts (medium)
• BUG: Custom field labels can now include dollar signs (minor)
• BUG: Fixed a problem with <textarea> tags in HTML content items that caused forms to break (medium)
• BUG: Fixed NullPointerException in stickies when the chapter key was missing (minor)
• BUG: Increased maximum supporter zip code length so that non-US postal codes will work (minor)
• BUG: Fixed NullPointerException in preview links when not in a chapter (was failing to add template information) (medium)
• BUG: Fixed the Custom Recipients checkboxes in the Campaign workflow not being uncheckable (Medium)
• BUG: Template table fixes - now loads enum values for type and displays non-email templates if type is not set (medium)
• BUG: Updated email address validator to allow for ampersands in first part of email addresses (minor)
• BUG: Updated pluralizing (alias now pluralizes to aliases rather than aliass) (minor)
• BUG: When searching for events, template links are now included (medium)
• DEVELOPMENT: "copy" now looks for linked objects to copy along with the main object (for example, copying a report now copies associated report_conditions and report_fields) (medium)
• DEVELOPMENT: Began work on a custom search engine for webpages, about 35% done (Major)
• ENHANCEMENT: Added "Edit P2P pages" option under the Peer-to-Peer Fundraising dropdown in the Donation tab (Medium)
• ENHANCEMENT: Email address and nickname validation added on the Signup page (Medium)
• ENHANCEMENT: Re-enabled multiple choice checkboxes in questionnaires (medium)
• ENHANCEMENT: Created new sign up for Salsa trial account (major)
• FORMATTING: All storefront pages had Mailing Address changes to Shipping Address (Minor)
• FORMATTING: Fixed alignment issues with some fields in the Distributed Events workflow (Minor)
