We've alluded to it over the past few weeks and now without further adieu, we want to let you know about some big changes to our webinar training series.

For the month of July and onward, we're moving away from our package/feature-based webinars - those that review how to use only one particular tool at a time. Instead, we'll be presenting three types of webinars: interactive trainings which focus on how everyday organizers actually learn to use Salsa, new feature release reviews, and Friday Free-for-Alls.

First, our training webinars: These webinars will follow a logical progression as you learn, and key in newer organizers to some best practices in the online world.

Starting off with our Salsa 101 training, we'll be sure to keep things uncomplicated and to the point - learning how to add supporters, create sign-up pages for organic growth, and email those supporters.

From there, we'll share some Mild Salsa with you and open things up to the skill sets necessary for a full campaign - setting up advocacy and donation pages, dropping them into your emails, and tracking your campaign's performance.

Our Medium Salsa training will focus on event management, social network and sharing tools and best practices, and long-term strategies and tools for growth.

Lastly, we've got some Hot Salsa trainings that will cover creating advanced reports, uses of the SalsaScript API, and other candy for our code-monkey users.

Second, we'll be demonstrating new features as they're released in Salsa. It's one thing to read about how a new feature can be used, but it's another thing entirely to see it in action. So we're giving you the chance to see how to use new features, learn about strategic opportunities for their use, and also time for questions.

Third, our last type of webinars are what we're calling Friday Free-for-Alls. Every other Friday (starting next Friday, July 15), we'll host a 30-minute webinar focusing on two particular Salsa packages. In the two weeks leading up, we'll collect your questions on those packages to answer in the webinar. These Friday Free-for-Alls should give plenty of chances to clear up an aspect of a tool you're not 100% sure of or ask for advice and recommendations on best practices with said tool.

As we've been doing, we'll be recording the best of the best and keeping you up to date on Salsa's YouTube channel. And any of our past webinars have been archived there as well, for further self-guided learning.

We're excited to be making our training program and webinars more responsive and inclusive of the great Salsa community. We hope you'll excuse us this first month as we get our feet under us. This is a pretty big undertaking, after all, but we're confident that this is a great move for anyone wanting to learn more about Salsa and online organizing.
