In general, anyone who’s ever responded with a courteous “thank you” in response to a support ticket gets a smile and positive, happy bonus points from me.  Our User Advisory Council is made up of people who not only remembered to say thank you, but followed up with helpful bugs notes, a healthy dose of good-natured sarcasm, and (too rarely, really) chocolate.

We only recently asked these smile-inducing members to help us out as ambassadors to and from the Salsa Community, but they’re already ruling at life, enhancing conversations in the Commons with two cents and then some.

If you are interested in being a part of our UAC (if you’ve read this far, I already think you’re okay), feel free to email me at chelsea at salsacommons.org and let me know why you think you’ll be useful.  We’re looking for experienced Salsa users, but this doesn’t mean you need to custom develop all of your pages – if you’re full of ideas for the future of online organizing and you're passionate about your work, we're interested in hearing more.

Interested or not, you should definitely check out some of our current UAC members so you can appreciate their existence with me.  Yay!
