We've recently tweaked the database to capture more information when your donors submit recurring donations -- those all-important automated, ongoing donations.

Recurring Donation entries now capture three important data fields that they didn't get before:

• donate_page_KEY, the origin page of the recurring donation
• cc_type such as "visa" or "mastercard"
• Credit_Card_Expiration, the MM/YY expiration date of the card the gift was charged to

That last one -- the card's expiration date -- can be especially handy as a first checkpoint when recurring gifts start to fail. Or even better, as a reporting field to give yourself advance warning a couple months before gifts fail so the donor can be asked to authorize a new one!
