Who: Advocates for Children of New Jersey (ACNJ)

What: ACNJ will release its annual New Jersey Kids Count county rankings and pocket guide. The pocket guide, New Jersey Kids Count 2018: The State of Our Counties, provides multiyear trend data on the county and state level for all aspects of child well-being. The rankings compare the state’s 21 counties on 12 measures of child well-being and across four domains: child and family economics, child health, safety and well-being and education.

When: Tuesday, August 21, 2018 

Why: NJ Kids Count provides a rich snapshot of how well children are faring in each county. The county and state level data can help inform local and state leaders, as well as community members, in their efforts to improve the well-being of all New Jersey children.

Embargoed copies of the reports are available now along with embeddable interactive charts (Tableau), good for print and online publication and broadcast anytime on Tuesday, August 21, 2018.
