Dear Supporter:

Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) is an evidence-based program that strengthens families and helps children grow up healthy and ready to thrive.  It is a proven program that is making a difference in the lives of children and families.

Make sure that Congress knows that children, families and communities are counting on them to reauthorize this important program.

SIGN-ON TODAY!

Please join the National Home Visiting Coalition in a sign-on letter urging congress to reauthorize the bipartisan-supported Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program for a term of five years with increased funding from $400 million annually to $800 million annually before funding expires. Sign-on the letter today.

Failure to reauthorize MIECHV by September 2017 means New Jersey would lose $11.5 million annually leaving 7,000 families in the 65 communities with the most need without the home visiting services that help children and families improve their health, educational achievements and economic stability.

State and local elected officials should sign onto the letter too! Let Congress know that you represent children and families who rely on MIECHV to improve their lives.

Please share and distribute this message and letter to elected officials and organizations.

Sincerely,

Cecilia Zalkind
President/CEO
