Child care or food for my kids? That’s a question no parents should ever have to ask. Sign the child care tax credit petition now

Dear Supporter,

With more than 400,000 children under the age of five in New Jersey, many working parents struggle to pay for child care.

Here’s how you can help. Sign the petition, supporting legislation that would provide a tax credit for child care expenses for families in the Garden State.

The average New Jersey family with two small children spends a staggering quarter of their earnings on child care. Low-income families spend even more -- almost half.

The measure (S-1453/A-331) would bring relief to struggling parents, helping them to pay for the quality care crucial to a young child’s growth and development. The credit would be available to taxpayers who are eligible for the federal child and dependent care credit and have state taxable income of $60,000 or less.

Every voice matters. Simply click through below to send your message of support for affordable child care for families.
