Eligible Schools List Just Released!

This year’s list of school that qualify for the federal Community Eligibility Provision has just been released.

Find out if your school is eligible.

This option allows schools to find all children, regardless of the income-status, while reducing paperwork. It’s a win-win. To learn more, join the School Nutrition Association’s Webinar - Community Eligibility Provision: Beyond the Basics – on May 13 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.  The discussion will focus on tips for preparing for implementation, grouping schools and combining community eligibility with breakfast in the classroom.

Breakfast Matters: Improving Nutrition Quality and Increasing Participation in Your Breakfast Program

Schools across the country have been working hard to implement new nutrition standards for school breakfast, which have been phased in over three years. Join the Food Research and Action Center’s webinar to learn about tips, menu ideas and successful strategies from school districts that have gone above and beyond to provide nutritious breakfasts to their students -- and have made breakfast part of the school day by offering it in the classroom or through other alternative service models.
