Feeding more kids through Community Eligibility

The Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) gives high-poverty schools an easier way to provide meals to all students. The provision is off to a strong start in the 2014-2015 school year, with many NJ school districts participating. You can add yours to the list. The Food Research and Action Center has created a new implementation guide and is sponsoring a free webinar on March 12 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Both the guide and webinar will assist with your targeting, education and outreach efforts.

Piloting and Expanding Breakfast After the Bell

Spring is a great time to kick off a new breakfast after the bell program! This webinar, scheduled for  April 9 at 3 p.m., can help you prepare now to pilot in a few schools, facilitating a smooth transition to breakfast after the bell. Hear from school districts that have recently implemented grab and go and in-classroom delivery models and about the many benefits they have seen in their school districts as a result.
