Coming from a rich background of work in education, organization development and community activism, with special attention to women's rights, Ms. Ghaida Rinawie-Zoabi is the founding Executive Director of Injaz Center for Professional Arab Local Governance, a post she has held since 2008. Recently, Ghaida Rinawie-Zoabi was noted as a social innovator by the Israeli economic magazine, The Marker, and chosen as one of 100 "most influential persons in Israel", the only female Arab citizen to be selected to this list.

Injaz Center for Professional Arab Local Governance is a dynamic Arab-Israeli organization working to improve the capacity of Arab leadership within local authorities, towns and villages in Israel in order to advance social and economic development for Arab citizens, and to reach greater social equality in Israel. Injaz also engages young people and women in setting the agenda for local governance. In its initial years of operations Injaz has earned kudos for its approach and impact.
