A breakfast briefing at the NIF Jerusalem office with journalist and author Gershom Gorenberg, who will speak on the current state of Israeli democracy, key social issues, and prospects for change.
The briefing is open to rabbis, cantors, and rabbinical and cantorial students (and partners).

Gershom Gorenberg is the author of The Unmaking of Israel, a book on the crisis of Israeli democracy and how to solve it. Gershom’s earlier works include The Accidental Empire: Israel and the Birth of the Settlements, 1967-1977, and The End of Days: Fundamentalism and the Struggle for the Temple Mount. Previously an associate editor of The Jerusalem Report, he is now a senior correspondent for The American Prospect and blogs at www.southjerusalem.com.
