E-xemplar: Serialized Mission-Based Storytelling

"Watching my brother be executed was the hardest thing I ever had to do in my life ..." Death Penalty USA, the blog of DIA users National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty, is two entries into a ten-part series called "Creating More Victims," which tells the heartrending stories of family members who lose loved ones to execution. (Here's the first, and the second.) The series is being done in partnership with Murder Victims' Families for Human Rights, some of the most eloquent and amazing advocates for restorative justice you'd ever hope to meet. In fact, the stories come from MVFHR's recent report (.pdf) of the same title, released this month for International Human Rights Day. Repurposing into a series of engrossing blog-entry narratives looks like a magnificent way to widen circulation of those stories, not to mention (which seems obscene in this context) driving new traffic to the publishing blog.
