Greetings!

It's the "Weekly Salsa Highlight," your quick hit on what's new in Salsa to help get the most out of your online program. As always, you can find plenty more news, updates, and conversation throughout the week on SalsaCommons.org.

As of this week, it's even easier to find: we've just enhanced search on Salsa Commons.

Enhanced Documentation Search on Salsa Commons

Let's face it, the native search application in our website application could be a little opaque sometimes.

So, we've swapped it out in favor of a custom-tailored Google sitesearch tool. Now, when you search Salsa Commons, you'll enjoy ...

  • Familiar-looking results with intuitive pagination
  • Easy-on-the-eyes page titles, descriptions, and links
  • Subsets for different types of pages, like documentation, forum questions, and blog posts

Sometimes, it's the little things that make all the difference. Hopefully, this little change makes Salsa Commons friendlier, and puts the best information about using Salsa in your hands when you need it.

Just note that because this search is script-based, you'll lose the results if you refresh the browser or use the back button.

P.S. -- If you're in D.C. today, I hope you'll join us this afternoon for our in-house strategy session, Making the Most of End-of-Year Giving at 4 p.m. It'll be followed at 6 p.m. by our monthly happy hour.
