Governor Quinn and the Illinois General Assembly are finalizing the FY 2013 budget and are considering a $4 million (50%) cut to HIV funding, as well as a $2.7 billion cut to Medicaid, the largest insurer of people living with HIV in Illinois. If you've had enough, please take action:
Contact your legislators
Call your legislators about proposed changes to Medicaid HIV drug coverage
Make three calls to the House Appropriations Human Services Committee for $4 million in HIV funding
E-mail your legislators
Download and circulate this petition (return to AFC by May 25)
Visit your legislator in Springfield
