1. As New Jersey looses ground in providing low-income children with access to quality preschool, what are DOE’s plans to fund preschool expansion, as mandated in the 2008 school funding law?

2. With decreased child care funding from the Department of Human Services, what specific steps is the DOE taking to ensure the financial viability of community preschools that currently are responsible for educating the majority of 3- and 4- year olds in state-supported programs?
