Join us in taking a stand against West Bank annexation

Recent moves by Israel's government are bringing Israel dangerously close to annexing the West Bank and sabotaging a future Israeli-Palestinian peace agreement. Last week, Americans for Peace Now called on fellow American Jewish organizations to join us in vocally opposing annexation and pre-judging issues to be negotiated between Israelis and Palestinians to achieve a final-status peace deal.

Specifically, we condemn the following:

• Likud Central Committee's unanimous vote to endorse the annexation of West Bank settlements by Israel
• A new directive by Israel's Attorney General instructing government ministries to apply new Israeli laws to West Bank settlers
• Knesset legislation on Jerusalem meant to render close to impossible a negotiated settlement with Palestinians

We need your help to amplify our message. Urge Jewish umbrella organizations to take a stand against these actions that imperil Israel's future as a democratic and Jewish state.
