Efforts to punish the Palestinians for their attempts to gain international recognition at the UN are gaining momentum on Capitol Hill. We need your help to tell Congress that punitive measures against the Palestinian Authority would not serve the cause of peace between Israel and the Palestinians. They would do the opposite. Actions such as cutting off aid to the Palestinian Authority, shutting down the PLO office in Washington and cutting off funding for UN bodies that upgrade the Palestinians’ status will only strengthen the forces that are fighting against peace and further isolate the U.S. and Israel at the UN and in the international community. Tell Congress that you support peace, not punishment.
