Lunch with an Activist: Conference Call with Noa Sattath

Take a Lunch Break and Call In!

Join NIF-New Generations' Jewish Your Way Campaign on Thursday, April 4th at 12:30pm EST to meet Noa Sattath, Director of the Israel Religious Action Center (IRAC), a New Israel Fund grantee. Noa will discuss IRAC’s vision for a more just and equal Israel, and explore the role of American Jews in advancing positive change.

This call will be facilitated by Dalit Kaplan, New Generations Steering Committee member and immigration lawyer.

To receive call-in information, please RSVP below.

This call is the first of a four-part series that showcases activists of NIF grantee organizations who are working for religious pluralism in Israel, and explores the role of American Jews in the process of social change.

Noa Sattath is the Director of IRAC and a second-year rabbinical student at Hebrew Union College in Jerusalem. Previously, Noa served as the Executive Director of the Jerusalem Open House, the LGBTcommunity center in Jerusalem, and as the Executive Director of MEET, a non-profit organization that uses technology to create a common language between Israeli and Palestinian young leaders. Before working in civil society, Noa worked as a leader in the Israeli software industry. She is a member of Congregation Kol Haneshama in Jerusalem.

IRAC is the preeminent civil and human rights organization in Israel focusing on the issues of religion and state and is the leading Jewish organization that advocates on behalf of a broadly inclusive Israeli democracy, infusing social justice advocacy with the spiritual energy and humane worldview of Progressive Judaism. IRAC is perhaps best known for fighting gender segregation on public busses in Israel, and is a longtime grantee of the New Israel Fund.
