Victories, Challenges and Vision: New Israel Fund’s Religious Pluralism Work

Although Israel is the Jewish homeland, free and open expression of Jewish identity is not always a given.  From bus segregation to arrests at the Kotel to the legitimacy of non-Orthodox denominations, the role of Judaism in Israeli public and religious life continues to present a complex and unique challenge.  In response, the New Israel Fund's New Generations community is excited to launch the Jewish Your Way campaign in December 2012 to raise awareness and support for NIF's grantees who are working to create an Israel where all forms of religious expression are welcome.

Join New Generations as we prepare to launch this campaign with a very special leadership development opportunity:

Interested in religious pluralism in Israel but don't feel like you have all the information?  If so, come to this exclusive briefing with the New Israel Fund's Director Bruce Temkin, where he will present recent grantee victories, current issues, and the New Israel Fund's vision for change on the topic of religious pluralism.  Bruce's briefing will be followed by a discussion focusing on how to effectively utilize this information as a leader of New Generations’ Jewish Your Way campaign.
