Communicating the “Why”: How to Talk About Complex Issues

Although Israel is the Jewish homeland, free and open expression of Jewish identity is not always a given.  From bus segregation to arrests at the Kotel to the legitimacy of non-Orthodox denominations, the role of Judaism in Israeli public and religious life continues to present a complex and unique challenge.  In response, the New Israel Fund's New Generations community is excited to launch the Jewish Your Way campaign in December 2012 to raise awareness and support for NIF's grantees who are working to create an Israel where all forms of religious expression are welcome.

Join New Generations as we prepare to launch this campaign with a very special leadership development opportunity:

Have you ever struggled to talk about the New Israel Fund?  Have you felt uncomfortable engaging in the polarizing "Israel debate?"  If so, come learn how to communicate the "Why."  This workshop, led by Rabbi David Rosenn, will illustrate the power of presenting an organization from the position of its values, providing you with the tools to serve as an effective leader in New Generations' Jewish Your Way campaign.
