Join us for a conference call, co-sponsored by Right Now and Rabbis for Human Rights-North America, to learn about the issue of refugees and asylum-seekers in Israel, and about how you can help raise awareness and support for this issue.

The call will include:

- Update on the situation on the ground by Orit Rubin, Psychosocial Program Manager at ASSAF - Aid Organization for Refugees and Asylum Seekers

- Introduction to materials for teaching about the issue

- Text study with Rabbi Gideon D. Sylvester, the British United Synagogue's Israel Rabbi and Director of the Rabbis for Human Rights Beit Midrash at the Hillel House of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem

- Conversation about raising awareness among congregations and constituencies during the High Holidays and at other times

If you have any questions about the call, please contact Ariella Sidelsky at NIF, ariella@nif.org, 212-613-4402.
