Published just a few weeks ago, The Crisis of Zionism has sparked an impassioned and multi-faceted debate in the Jewish community and beyond. We are delighted to provide an opportunity for rabbis to hear from and converse with Peter Beinart.
Peter Beinart is the author of The Crisis of Zionism and editor of the Daily Beast blog, Open Zion, which fosters an open and unafraid conversation about Israel, Palestine and the Jewish future. He is also Associate Professor of Journalism and Political Science at The City University of New York, Senior Political Writer for The Daily Beast-Newsweek, and a Schwartz Senior Fellow at the New America Foundation. Previously, Beinart served as Editor of The New Republic from 1999 to 2006, and was a Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations from 2007 to 2009.
