Changing Lives, Bringing Hope: Insights and Updates from Ethiopian Israeli Activists

SHATIL’s own Shlomo Berihun will participate in a panel discussion about the history of Ethiopian Jewry, insights about current accomplishments and challenges faced by Ethiopian Israelis, and the Shiluvim program in Haifa.  Shlomo is SHATIL coordinator for assistance to Ethiopian immigrants and also co-chair of Haifa’s Ethiopian Jewry committee.  He will be joined by Mulegeta Nega, Haifa Ethiopian Jewry Committee Vice-chair and Gadi Melacku, Shiluvim Center Director.

The program will include refreshments and the sale of Ethiopian Israeli crafts. 
It is free and open to the public, but RSVP is requested.
