Stop DREAMer Jonatan's Deportation

Pictured above is Jonatan with his sister.
Immigration Officials are attempting to deport former Homecoming King, an accepted Mercer University MBA Student.
Jonatan was excited about his recent acceptance into Mercer University’s Master of Business Program. His hard work both in the community and at school was finally paying off. But a recent run-in with Immigration changed all of that. Jonatan is now fighting deportation to Mexico, a country he has not been to in 20 years.
Jonatan played on the drum-line in high school, hung out with friends, volunteered at his church, and was even elected Homecoming King. He went on to study at Macon State College, following his dream of earning an MBA and becoming an executive for a multinational corporation.
Earlier this year Jonatan was placed in deportation proceedings. At his first appearance before the Immigration Judge, he was horrified to learn his lawyer had accepted voluntarily departure on his behalf without consulting him.
Jonatan came to the US when he was four years old. He has no family in Mexico and the culture seems foreign to him. “I consider myself an American,” he states, “I was educated here, brought up here, and English is my primary language.” Jonatan is now fighting to reopen his case.
Please sign this petition to ask Felicia Skinner (Field Office Director of Atlanta Field Office) to stop Jonatan’s deportation so that he may have the opportunity to continue to pursue his studies, life, and dreams in the country he calls home.
