#GivingTuesday

This year the Pension Rights Center is taking part in the first ever #GivingTuesday. Today, nonprofits, businesses, and individuals are using social media to “transform the way people think about, talk about, and participate in the giving season.” To learn more about #GivingTuesday and the other partners, visit www.GivingTuesday.org

You can become a part of the #GivingTuesday movement by supporting the Pension Rights Center. Here are a few reasons you should support us:

We keep you informed: Through our fact sheets, which provide tips on subjects such as how to keep track of your pension, lump-sum pension buyout offers, and  retirement plan contribution limits, the Pension Rights Center makes sure that you have the information you need to make important retirement decisions.

We provide legal help: Not sure where to turn for help with a retirement plan problem? The Pension Rights Center works with the U.S. Administration on Aging’s Pension Counseling and Information Program and legal service offices around the country to provide free expert assistance to ensure that people receive the benefits they have earned.

We make sure your voice is heard: Have you been shortchanged by a retirement law, misadvised about an investment, or charged excessive fees? Has your company frozen your plan, suspended contributions, or unfairly changed its rules? We help make sure that your concerns become part of public policy debates and result in consumer-friendly laws and regulations

We’re on your side: Most importantly, the Pension Rights Center is fighting for you. For more than 36 years, our dedicated staff has been working to ensure that all Americans can retire in dignity.

This #GivingTuesday, help us continue to be your voice for years to come. Please support us today at www.pensionrights.org/support

Thank you.
