Happy Friday!

I think I have spring fever, which is bad, especially in Wisconsin, since March Madness pretty regularly includes at least a few inches of snow.

RootsCamp feedback

Geoff, Director of the Salsa Marketplace, found seeing the awesome work that the Center for Community Change is doing for immigration reform using MobileCommons and Salsa together to be the most rewarding moment at RootsCamp. Several coworkers agreed the awesome party we threw for the organizers before the camp wasn't so bad either.

John's thinking about St. Patrick's Day, I'm pretty sure.

What's your favorite thing about March?

John B., Business Development Executive: St. Patrick's Day. There is supposedly a Brougher Mountain in Ireland [I googled it. It's true].

Jim, Vice President of Business Development: Given my love for ancient Roman history and political campaigns, my favorite thing about March is that it's name was first coined by the Roman Empire as "Maritus" (aka, Mars - the Roman god of war). Since the time of year marks the beginning of spring, it also marked the beginning of the military campaign season. Given the important nature of our client's effort in this highly political year, I cannot think of a better way of looking at the month to come. [uh. yeah, that's Jim.]
