Workshop: Use Video to Engage Your Supporters Without Breaking the Bank

In 2012, we’ve seen that online video for nonprofits and causes is BIG… and getting bigger. YouTube receives over 3 billion views from users that average up to 25 minutes a day on the site. Invisible Children, the creators of the “Kony 2012” campaign, used online video to fundamentally change the game for their issue. But, we've heard the same refrain from lots of non-profits: 'Kony 2012 was captivating, but we don't have hundreds of thousands of dollars for a video!

Join See3 Communications and Salsa Labs for a lively and informative session on how to create an impactful video that drives engagement and fits your budget.

We'll also talk about how you can use video with the resources you already have--social media and email--to drive up response rates and put interested people firmly into your corner. Attendees will see the year’s best examples of effective cause video, learn proven strategies for using video to grow your lists, and cultivate new constituents into empowered activists. Expect to leave with these three takeaways:

  • Understanding the anatomy of a successful cause video
  • The model for an effective video-driven advocacy campaign
  • How to use video to grow your lists, reduce list churn and drive up your overall response rates
