• BUG: Fixed a bug in the query builder causing the wrong values to be selected in the receive_email drop-down (medium)
• BUG: Fixed problem in which converted templates weren't always being found in the manage templates page (major)
• BUG: Fixed supporter tagging in the query interface (key collisions were causing duplicate rows to error out) (medium)
• BUG: In all email validation, trimmed emails before validating to eliminate suspected issues with leading/trailing spaces (medium)
• BUG: Fixed blank email triggers being sent out when editing a donation page (minor)
• BUG: Fixed display of the contact history "notes" field (minor)
• BUG: '#' characters are now allowed in user variables (minor)
• BUG/ENHANCEMENT: Added code to include default email blast text headers and footers (minor)
• ENHANCEMENT: Added a "List Sent LTEs" link under Letters to the Editor. (minor)
• ENHANCEMENT: Added the ability to search for supporters, reports, campaigns, emails, and chapters based on their keys from the search box. (minor)
• ENHANCEMENT: Added the Email_Trigger_KEYS field in the LTE builder workflow for email trigger functionality. (medium)
• ENHANCEMENT: Increased the number of previous blasts in the List Previous Blasts sticky from 18 to 30. (minor)

Thanks for your recommendations! The first one is already in the 'improvements' queue so you may see that in a future SSR as an improvement.

The second one, we are constantly working to make the WYSIWYG a better tool. Currently it does accept some inline CSS. If you've got a specific email that is giving you problems submit a support ticket and we'll take a look.

email formatting and supporter list management

2 things need to be fixed in Salsa before you force us completely out of the old DIA.

1) when editing or deleting supporter records we should alway go back to or have a single link to go back to the entire list. Now it is two steps having to again select the supporter management tab and then list supporters again.

2) we need to be able to paste in HTML code with css formating into the email blast HTML source and have that css code read. This has always worked in the old DIA, but doesn't in the new DIA.

I have been using Salsa a lot, but those two things make it impossible to give up the Old DIA completely.

And while I am writing, Why aren't these updates posted to the support list serv?
