WaPo: Write-Your-Rep Tools Make 'A More Robust Democracy'
01:30 PM Jun 12, 2006
Last week, we mentioned the logic puzzles being deployed in the House of Representatives in order to frustrate online communications. This morning, Jeffrey Birnbaum of the Washington Postpicks up the story.
"What we've been doing -- and what the [political] right has been
doing -- contributes to a more robust democracy and it ought to be
welcomed," said [Ralph] Neas of People for the American Way.
Unfortunately, in the House of Representatives, it isn't.
Update: N-TEN members can join a free webinar on the logic puzzles matter Thursday at 1:00 Eastern/10:00 Pacific.
