I came across this great Handbook for Bloggers and Cyber-Dissidents through Nonprofit Online News. The most compelling aspect of the handbook is their discussion about the subversive blogging community. With examples from Hong Kong to Nepal, they touch on censorship, ethics and journalistic credibility. Even if you're blogging about your kittens, these things ring true.

For us nonprofit bloggers they have general start-up tips, a meaty section on outreach and what, to them, really makes a blog shine.
