This is why I subscribe to our members enews. How cool is that! Van Jones of Green For All will be at the White House Council on Environmental Quality. His job will be to help shape the administration's energy and climate policy, so that climate solutions produce jobs and justice for all Americans. Specifically, he'll be the Special Advisor for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation.

Well, we hope he keeps us greenies happy, or you know what comes next.

One thing I found out in their alert, was this:

"In just our first 14 months, Green For All has become a national organization with 32 staff members, a multi-million dollar annual budget, and an online network of 70,000 people. We have won a string of victories, most notably: $500 million from the federal government to support green job training programs across the country. These funds were an important part of President Obama's Recovery and Reinvestment Act."

They also state "This year, the green jobs movement will be focused on helping to ensure equal access to the money in the green aspects of Obama's recovery package, while winning jobs and justice in the upcoming federal climate legislation."

Sounds good to me!
