We just finished posting a nice long list of webinars for the next month- New and seasoned (oh yes, yes I did) Salsa users are welcome, and we look forward to sharing more tips and tricks from the interface with you.  I hope you enjoy these January opportunities and that you're looking forward to growing and learning with us in 2009.  Serving the progressive community as a member of the Salsa support team has afforded me (usually) more gifts than headaches, and I've felt particularly thrilled to see the growth of the community through Salsa Commons just within these past few months.

Before I landed in technical support land, I was once assigned to write a paragraph, about where I would see myself in five years.  Instead, I turned the assignment into a project, created a collage to  artistically represent my goals, and blathered something about becoming a lawyer and hanging out with a cat all day.  I think we can safely say I've abandoned most of the specific goals I'd set, yet I still keep the collage at my desk to remind myself that no matter the goal, working for principles ("service," "peace," "earth," and "balance" were words included in my collage) can be as rewarding as tangible and definite achievements. 

Though we don't really know each other, we can still connect, and though we don't always have the same goals, I do think we're all working with the same principles in mind.  Seeing our community work together towards these principles is one of my favorite aspects of Salsa Commons.  The Commons forum never fails to treat me to my "new favorite user" - You are all brilliant and useful, and even when I feel like I'm drowning in feature requests (but really, keep them coming), I still want to read more from you - more ideas, questions, solutions and praise. 

In the new year, I resolve to more fully utilize this awesome community, to communicate more with you and to ensure that your voice is heard.  Let me know how we're doing and/or consider posting your New Year's personal or political resolution here!
